FYI, this story is more than a year old

Fluent Commerce has announced a global partnership with AyataCommerce with the shared goal of giving retailers greater convenience. This announcement marks the extension of an existing, long term relationship between the two companies.

Fluent Commerce is a smart order management platform while AyataCommerce is a global technology services agency. The partnership is said to help retailers sell anywhere, fulfill from anywhere and return anywhere.

For customers, this means they receive their orders faster, while for retailers it means increased sales, reduced fulfilment costs and better customer retention, the companies state.

AyataCommerce CEO Jim Herbert says, “This partnership underlines our commitment to the Fluent Commerce vision of putting the consumer experience and convenience at the heart of a retailers' strategy.

“We can implement Fluent Commerce in weeks, giving retailers the ability to fulfil orders more consistently and flexibly than traditional eCommerce platforms with a single distribution centre model.

The Fluent Commerce platform is a cloud native distributed order management platform that provides different functionalities for a retailer to offer delivery flexibility, as well as dealing with returns and courier shipping.

AyataCommerce will integrate Fluent Commerce into existing eCommerce deployments such as SAP Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento and other eCommerce platforms.

Fluent Commerce managing director EMEA Rob Shaw says, “The Fluent Commerce platform allows retailers to use their existing stores as additional mini warehouses.

“AyataCommerce has demonstrated it can reliably and rapidly deliver the integrations needed to roll out our platform to clients via a proven delivery methodology. Fluent Commerce is delighted to recommend AyataCommerce and we look forward to a strong future together delivering change to our joint clients,” says Shaw.
