ManageEngine comes out on top in latest Info-Tech report

ManageEngine has just received the top value score in the Info-Tech Research Group's Vendor Landscape and IT Asset Management report.

The real-time IT management company's product, AssetExplorer, earned the award for providing a comprehensive asset management and integration solution at a fraction of the price of other tools.

The company took out top honours for value and beat out the rest of the ITAM field including BMC, IBM and LANDESK.

Rajesh Ganesan, director of product management at ManageEngine, says the company has enabled thousands of organisations to a run a tight IT ship for a decade now.

“This award recognises our mission to move IT organisations from being cost centres to profit centres by offering world class ITAM capability,” says Ganesan

Info-Tech's Value Score looks into each of the vendors product offerings and business strengths such as features and usability, capabilities across multiple platforms, market presence and end-user reputation, relative to their price points.

ManageEngine's AssetExplorer won the company a perfect 100 for the Info-Tech Value Score.

The report also listed ManageEngine AssetExplorer as a 'Market Pillar' and a strong product offering for having a quality Graphical User Interface, an approachable learning curve, and strong remote access and control features.

AssetExplorer is a web-based IT asset management software solution designed to help monitor and manage assets in the IT network from planning right through to disposal. According to ManageEngine, AssetExplorer ensures discovery of all the assets in the IT network.

The company also recently gained the highest score possible for customer satisfaction in privileged identity management.
