Peacock Bros acquires insignia to boost supply chain solutions

The Australian supply chain and printing firm, Peacock Bros., announced today its complete acquisition of insignia, a company with a 55-year history, specialising in identification and traceability solutions. The acquisition fuses the powers of two of Australia’s most principal family-led businesses in the supply chain solutions domain. Ryan McGrath, Peacock Group’s Managing Director said, “We are excited to welcome insignia to the Peacock Group." McGrath explained that insignia had always been a respected competitor that boasted a professional team and a keen expertise.

insignia’s state-of-the-art print manufacturing facilities will enable Peacock Bros. to substantially enhance their product and service offerings within the region. Beyond this, McGrath stated that the merger will "provide exciting opportunities for our staff, customers, and partners.” For over 50 years, insignia has been a trusted authority in product identification and traceability and has partnered with leading brands such as Domino, Zebra, Honeywell, and more. Operating nationally, insignia's workforce of over 115 members services more than 3,500 customers, including multinational businesses across a range of industries such as retail, T&L, manufacturing, automotive, and food & beverage.

Post acquisition, insignia will function alongside other prominent Peacock Group businesses, such as Peacock Bros. and AMR Hewitts Print Packaging, increasing the group's workforce to over 300. The alignment further extends their geographical reach across Australia and New Zealand. Bringing together key skill sets and capabilities to provide products and solutions of a global calibre, the acquisition paves the way to service their customer base of over 15,000 across the region.
