BT signed a five-year agreement with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to accelerate innovation and the development of solutions to tackle the growing threat of cybercrime.
The collaboration will focus on cybersecurity as well as machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics and visualisation.
As a result of the agreement, both organisations will be able to accelerate cybersecurity development building on UTS infrastructure and expertise as well as explore new technologies to support future products and services.
BT security experts and researchers may also engage with UTS students through guest lectures, internships and innovation programs.
BT is recognised by industry analysts as a leader in managed security services in Asia Pacific as well as globally.
