Check Point signs new distributor for Aussie SMB market

Check Point Software Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Aria Technologies. 

Aria, an Australian communications firm for the small to medium business market, will take on the Australian SMB distribution for the global cybersecurity firm. 

"Aria Technologies has been appointed our SMB Distributor of choice, due to their unique and leading position in the Australian SMB ICT market," says Check Point managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Scott McKinne.

"Their market share, extensive and skilled partner channel, and strong collaboration with Australia’s leading telecommunication carrier made this an easy choice for us," he explained

Aria Technologies has achieved significant results in the distribution of Telstra Voice, Mobile and Data services. 

Chris Karagiannis, chief executive officer at Aria Technologies, said the company's appointment as the Australian SMB distributor for Check Point further solidifies Aria Technologies' diversification into cybersecurity and associated managed services.

 "We are delighted to have been selected as a distributor by a key global player in Check Point," he says. 

"Our developing portfolio of ICT solutions required a strong and reliable cybersecurity supplier and our partnership with Check Point will help secure our customers future."

Aria Technologies joins a growing list of Check Point distributors in Australia, including Dicker Data, Westcon-Comstor and Orca Tech.

Based in Australia, Aria has offices across the country including Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, with its headquarters in Rowville, Melbourne. 

The company has been operating since 2000 and during this time it has expanded from an Ericsson-LG phone system distributor to a total solution distributor. Its solutions include Ericsson-LG Enterprise, Lifesize, LANCOM Systems, SO Connect, Messages On Hold, XMedius and Jabra.

"This has enabled our channel partners to provide total communication solutions to business customers," it says.
