10 Oct 2017

Data#3’s Glenn McAtee is moving across to Cirrus Networks, taking on the role of WA state manager for the IT solutions provider.

McAtee has been Data#3 state manager since 2011. His replacement at Data#3, Kingsley McGarrigle, was announced yesterday.

McAtee’s new role, which starts tomorrow, will see him reporting to Cirrus managing director Matt Sullivan.

Sullivan says he’s excited to have someone of McAtee’s calibre joining the executive team.

“Having worked with Glenn at L7 Solutions and seen his success at Data#3, we are very confident he will grow and develop the WA business into the leading services and managed services player in the region,” Sullivan says.

He says it is a ‘key appointment’ for Cirrus as it strategically focuses on service based solutions.

During his time with Data#3, McAtee helped deliver more than 300% growth, growing staff seven fold and delivering ‘a number’ of significant contracts.

“I’m delighted to be joining Cirrus at such an exciting time in the organisation,” McAtee says.

“Having established a reputation to design, deliver and manage innovative value based solutiosn for clients, I am confident we can continue the success as a market leader in WA.

“With exceptional staff and a can-do culture, we will continue to drive growth and increase market share in WA.”

McAtee’s 30+ years in the industry include more than six years as general manager at L7 Solutions, and eight years as principal and managing director for The Net Effect.
