“We’re excited to begin this new relationship with Fujitsu and to have their support as we continue to provide the market’s best training experience.”
The new contract will also provide significant cost savings through the use of innovative technology, including additional services to staff and students that were not available under the previous arrangement.
Mike Foster, CEO of Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand says the company is pleased to be working closely with TAFE Queensland.
“We are continuing to invest in a quality delivery capability in this Region and this opportunity builds on our recent successes in Queensland.”
The contract includes 38 locally based support staff across Australia, with Fujitsu investing in a further 50 back office administrative roles in the Queensland team to deliver the support services.
Fujitsu's transition as the new TAFE Queensland ICT service provider is well underway and is due to be completed early in 2017.
