FYI, this story is more than a year old

InterSystems has announced the release of a suite of new solutions to facilitate improvements for financial services organisations.

The company says its suite of solutions powered by smart data fabric architecture will help financial services organisations become more agile, make faster and more informed decisions, and better respond to changing customer expectations.

The Business 360, Customer 360, Institutional Client 360, and Cloud Fintech Gateway solutions have been developed to meet the broad range of customer requirements within the financial services ecosystem.

InterSystems explains that this includes large and mid-tier financial services organisations, software vendors and fintechs.

The solutions use next-generation data management technology and a new architectural approach known as a smart data fabric.

The company elaborates that this allows for an overarching and non-disruptive layer that accesses and harmonises information from source systems on demand.

Additionally, the smart data fabric provides a range of analytics and business user self-service capabilities, which InterSystems has explicitly designed for the financial services sector.

The solutions enable financial services organisations to have a consistent view of information from distributed internal and external sources, including real-time streaming data.

They are intended for complex data environments because they remove the limitations, complexities, and delays associated with previous approaches such as data lakes and warehouses, allowing financial services firms to make faster, more informed business decisions.

“Most financial services firms have an enormous volume of data at their disposal, yet are unable to fully leverage it to innovate and drive their businesses forward,” InterSystems head of financial services solutions, Michael Hom, says.

“Our new suite of solutions was designed with financial organisations of all sizes and their unique challenges in mind.

“The use of smart data fabrics enables them to connect disparate data sources, be in a better position to innovate and respond to changing customer needs in an ever-evolving business landscape.

The self-service analytics capabilities enable business users to freely explore data, ask ad hoc questions, and then focus on issues through interactive queries based on initial findings.

Furthermore, advanced analytics capabilities allow business users to access critical insights through predictive analytics and interactive dashboards, meaning line of business personnel can utilise data to its full potential, and IT teams are freed up to prioritise strategic initiatives.

Each solution offers financial services organisations different capabilities suited to their specific needs, including:

  • InterSystems Business 360: Business leaders and their teams take full advantage of a current and accurate 360-degree view of enterprise data, delivering a wide range of benefits, including improved decision support, better compliance, more robust risk management, increased revenue generation, enhanced operational resilience, and accelerated innovation.

  • InterSystems Customer 360: Financial services organisations create and maintain a comprehensive, current, and accurate 360-degree view of their customers, offering improved customer experiences, increased revenue, reduced churn, and higher operational efficiencies.

  • InterSystems Institutional Client 360: Investment management organisations achieve a holistic view of their institutional clients to gain the critical insights needed to create and execute more impactful strategies, increase revenue, and deliver outstanding levels of client service.

  • Cloud Fintech Gateway: This provides a dynamic, bidirectional real-time data gateway that connects cloud-based Fintech applications and services with organisations' existing on-premises applications and data stores faster and with a simpler architecture than traditional approaches.
