Juniper Networks has signed on Dicker Data as a distributor for their entire portfolio within Australia.

Effective today, Dicker Data will be granted access to all of Juniper Networks' product portfolios including networking, security, applications and software-defined.

Chairman and CEO of Dicker Data, David Dicker says,  “I'm pleased to be announcing our new relationship with Juniper in Australia.

“Juniper Networks is known globally for their expertise in the networking and security industry and we're looking forward to working with them to further grow their already substantial presence in the enterprise and mid-market segments.

Juniper networks now has a total of four local distributors for its solutions portfolio, as Dicker Data joins Westcon, Tech Data and Avnet.

Dicker Data says it has deployed specially trained sales and pre-sales resources for the immediate servicing of customer demand.

Ralph Candiloro, Juniper Networks regional vice president for Australia says the latest partnership will increase their capacity to deliver cutting-edge networking solutions.

“We look forward to leveraging Dicker Data's years of knowledge and experience to develop compelling IT solutions that our customers can use to leverage the cloud and secure their workloads.

The news comes as Juniper Networks recently gave its Partner Advantage program a refresh, with the major aim being to simplify the requirements of the program and enrich partner rewards.

The refresh also aimed to deliver the ability for partners to address new market opportunities through new specialisations based on emerging opportunities including Cloud, Security, Data Center and Software Development.
