FYI, this story is more than a year old

LG Business Solutions has debuted a new digital signage format, with the 86-inch LG Ultra Stretch Signage display, which the company says can double as ‘digital décor'.

The Ultra Stretch Signage 86BH5C has a 58:9 aspect ratio and can display dynamic content depending on the user's installation environment.

LG Business Solutions says the ultra-wide digital signage screen, which features immersive 4K Ultra HD resoution, will provide an immersive viewing experience in retail stores and banks, and is also expected to be ‘valuable' for airports, subways or even art galleries.

The Ultra Stretch features a picture by picture feature allowing users to divide the long – really long! – rectangular screen into four parts in landscape or portrait installations.

LG says this empowers the integrator to customise the screen to mazimise content.

“With the  LG SuperSign media editor, integrators are able to easily edit images or video clips of original content without the need for any additional editing programs, resulting in a seamless process for isplaying and communicating content,” LG Business Solutions says.
