FYI, this story is more than a year old

MuleSoft has appointed Grace Micallef as the company's first regional sales director for ANZ South, which includes Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.

Based in Melbourne, Micallef will be responsible for supporting company growth, accelerating sales, and managing both public and private sector accounts. MuleSoft regional vice president of ANZ South Marc Caltabiano says, ”Grace brings a wealth of skills and knowledge from the ICT industry to MuleSoft. She will play an integral role in supporting our customers as they build out their application networks that connect any application, data and device across cloud and on-premises.

“We look forward to the positive impact she will have in driving our customers' digital transformation initiatives forward as they look to change and innovate faster, deliver differentiated customer experiences and increase operational efficiency.” Micallef joins MuleSoft with more than 20 years of enterprise software sales experience and most recently served as Hexagon Geospatial's APAC executive director, where she served for 5 years.

During this time, Micallef served on the company's global leadership team and was responsible for driving the sales strategy and strategic growth initiatives. Previously, she was a business development manager at Intergraph Corporation and was also regional account director for AT-T Network Services.

In addition, Micallef spent 10 years at Hewlett Packard in several client and account management roles based in both Sydney and Melbourne, where she managed a portfolio of enterprise and public sector clients. On her appointment, Micallef notes, “MuleSoft puts customers at the heart of everything it does. The company's continued focus on its strong roadmap, application network vision and dedication to customer success is energizing.

“I'm thrilled to join the team and support our customers in their digital transformation journeys.

The news follows a series of APAC channel appointments from MuleSoft in April, which the company made in an effort to grow its partner ecosystem and deepen existing partner engagements.

Six new channels and alliances leaders joined the company at the time, with four based in Sydney, one based in Melbourne and one based in Singapore.

At the time of the appointments, MuleSoft APAC vice president Will Bosma said, “Partners play a critical role in supporting our mission to help organisations change and innovate faster by creating application networks.

“These talented go-to-market leaders will help us drive our next phase of growth by developing and enhancing our partner ecosystem. They will help our partners remain competitive in this rapidly evolving market so we together can support our customers in achieving their goals and accelerating their pace of business.
