Distributors and consumers are being warned to stop all trading with Digital Skies Group Pty Ltd, with reports that the company is breaching a number of laws surrounding fair trading complaints.

NSW Fair Trading issued a statement last week which showed that the company has been the subject of a number of complaints, including product quality, receiving payment without supplying products, supplying products not fit for the Australian market, and other offences under Australian Consumer Law.

The company operates three different online electronics stores that claim to sell a range of products from large manufacturers such as Samsung, Casio, Apple, Lenovo, Sandisk, Olympus, GoPro, Seiko, Logitech and more. The company has left a consumer detriment totalling $150,000.

The three websites, Android Enjoyed, Camera Sky and Klukkur, operate online. It is unclear where the company sources its products, however resellers should also heed warnings about dealing with the company.

"NSW Fair Trading Commissioner Rod Stowe has urged anyone considering doing business with Digital Skies Group Pty Ltd to give the matter serious consideration before making any payment or purchasing any products," the statement says.

The statement says that despite an online presence, the company has no physical operational address in Australia, as only a P.O. Box number is listed on the website.

The company also falsely claims it has a presence in a major shopping mall.

“This company is the subject of numerous complaints, and Fair Trading has been unable to make contact with the business owner despite numerous attempts,” the statement continues.
