Readify has snapped up Dimension Data's former Victorian state manager Andrew Phillips as it seeks to become Australia's ‘first development, design and data powerhouse'.

Phillips is taking on the role of national sales director, in what Readify says is a coup for the company which will help cement its place at the forefront of the Australian technology scene.

The appointment follows the Melbourne-based technology services company's acquisition of data analytics business Huegin Consulting and investment in brand and UX design agency Folk.

Readify says it is now focused on developing its internal teams ‘to ensure they have the skills, resources and brilliant minds needed to dream up and create the next big disruptive enterprise'.

“Bringing together software development, design and data means we are best placed to help clients transform their businesses,” says Readify managing director Graeme Strange.

“We help companies innovate through our deep understanding emerging technologies, from the Internet of Things to Hololens,” Strange says.

Earlier this month the company was named as one of Microsoft's partners for the internet of things.

Prior to joining Readify, Phillips spent three years heading up Dimension Data's Victorian branch and six years as the company's ACT branch manager. He has also worked with Unisys, Nortel, Meta Group and Geotronics.
