Samsung launches brand new 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F TV in Australia

Thu, 2nd Oct 2025

Samsung Australia has announced that the 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F, its largest screen to date, is now available for pre-order through its website and select retailers.

The QN90F, positioned as the biggest addition to Samsung's current TV line-up, features the company's NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, Glare Free technology, and an array of AI-driven enhancements targeting home cinema enthusiasts and Australian households seeking expansive displays. The television is available for pre-order with pricing beginning at AUD $26,999.

Super-sized display

The 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F is constructed to deliver detailed images on a scale suited for large living spaces. Samsung highlights the model's AI-enhanced picture quality that utilises a neural network processor to refine both visual and audio output, and specifically addresses common challenges of large screens, such as display blur and on-screen reflections.

"Australians love big screen home cinema experiences which has contributed to super large screen TVs becoming the fastest growing segment in the industry," said Simon Howe, Director - Audio Visual, Samsung Australia. "With the 115" QN90F, Samsung Australia has further expanded its super large screen line-up offering more Australians access to big-screen options to suit their lifestyle."

Samsung says the QN90F 115" leverages its NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, which uses 768 neural networks to process and enhance audio and video, aiming to amplify Mini LED picture quality from most viewing positions in a room. Other enhancements include Quantum Matrix Technology Plus, which aims to improve contrast and clarity by providing precise lighting control, and Samsung's Glare Free feature which has been certified to reduce distractions from glare in well-lit environments.

AI-driven features

The AI-processor enables several on-board technologies, including the Supersize Picture Enhancer, which is intended to reduce noise and sharpen images using an AI-based super resolution algorithm. Further, 4K AI Upscaling Pro is designed to improve the presentation of older or lower resolution content.

Samsung's Neo Quantum HDR Pro and Auto HDR Remastering Pro also analyse content scene-by-scene, adjusting tone mapping in real-time to enhance contrast and colour depth, a capability that Samsung states supports both dark and bright images. Motion Xcelerator 144Hz ensures a high refresh rate for fast-moving sports and gaming content, while AI Motion Enhancer Pro is intended to keep action sequences clear.

According to research cited by Samsung, 53% of Australians gather to watch sporting events on television, while approximately 58% express frustration with glare disrupting their viewing.

Audio capabilities

Audio output is delivered via integrated top-channel Dolby Atmos speakers and Object Tracking Sound+ (OTS+), which is designed to align audio cues with on-screen movement, such as footsteps or vehicle sounds. The company indicates that these features help match sound output to the scale of the display.

"Not all big screens are created equal. Detail can be lost as content is stretched across a larger screen or it utilises larger pixels losing the finer details on screen," said Mr. Howe. "As the number one global TV leader for 19 years, Samsung has worked hard to produce features like Supersize Picture Enhancer and AI upscaling to ensure Australians can go bigger without compromising on picture quality, while ensuring that the TV's sound quality is super-sized to match the incredible picture."

Smart home integration

The QN90F is positioned as part of a broader connected home ecosystem, incorporating Samsung Knox security, SmartThings integration for smart home management, and access to Samsung TV Plus for no-cost content. The television operates on Samsung's One UI Tizen system, which supports up to seven years of operating system updates.

Additional smart features include compatibility with Samsung Gaming Hub for console-free gaming, and personalisation tools powered by Samsung Vision AI. Security features are supported by Samsung Knox, which has been independently evaluated for IT security according to certification standards.

With the introduction of the 115-inch Neo QLED QN90F, Samsung's selection of super-sized TVs also includes the 100-inch Neo QLED 4K QN80F, 98-inch Neo QLED 4K QN90F, and 98-inch Crystal UHD 4K DU9000. Samsung has also announced a 115-inch model based on Micro LED technology.
