SAP has reshuffled its top local roles, with a new president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand and a new executive director as it pushes cloud and digital innovation.

Colin Brookes (pictured), previously SAP United Kingdom and Ireland chief operating officer, has taken on the top ANZ role of president and managing director, with Stephen Moore, who has been interim president and managing director, moving into the role of executive director for SAP ANZ.

Brookes will be responsible for all customer operations across the region, while Moore, who has been with SAP Asia Pacific Japan since 2011, is charged with building on the growth and adoption of SAP's cloud portfolio and supporting SAP's wider customer, partner and community ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand.

Scott Russell, who was recently appointed president of SAP Asia Pacific Japan, says Brookes has ‘brought a new level of sophistication' to the local operations, since stepping into the role early this year.

That has translated to better outcomes for customers and higher satisfaction for them, Russell says.

“Under his leadership, I am confident this trend will accelerate,” he adds.
