Schneider Electric unveils AI-first Resource Advisor+

Wed, 21st Jan 2026

Schneider Electric has launched Resource Advisor+, an energy and sustainability intelligence platform under its SE Advisory Services consulting practice.

The company said Resource Advisor+ combines energy and sustainability data in a single platform. It also includes a suite of products that cover emissions and energy management, supply chain sustainability, climate risk, and sustainability reporting.

Schneider Electric positioned the platform as an alternative to multiple tools and separate datasets. It said the platform uses AI-driven workflows and a multi-product setup in one system.

AI agent

Resource Advisor+ includes an AI agent called Sera. Schneider Electric said Sera interprets user requests and directs specialised agents that operate in the background.

The company said Sera relies on SE Advisory Intelligence, which it described as a proprietary knowledge layer based on Schneider Electric's consulting work. Schneider Electric said it has encoded two decades of consulting methods and operating constraints into that layer.

Schneider Electric also described three areas of differentiation for the platform. These include context and precision, which the company said are based on institutional knowledge. It also cited "frugal AI by design", which it said draws on energy-efficient models and "carbon-aware" computations. The third area was collaborative intelligence, which it said embeds human expertise and proprietary knowledge into workflows.

"Today marks an exciting milestone as we bring our AI-first vision to life," said Steve Wilhite, Executive Vice President for SE Advisory Services' global Energy & Sustainability Practise. "Resource Advisor+ introduces a completely new way for companies to manage their energy and sustainability performance, powered by SE Advisory Intelligence and a network of agentic AI capabilities."

"By automating complexity and turning data into action, Resource Advisor+ enables users to accelerate both energy optimisation and decarbonization and represents a fundamental shift in how we help our clients achieve meaningful, enterprise-wide outcomes," Wilhite added.

Product rollout

Schneider Electric said the Resource Advisor+ ecosystem launches with two products: Carbon Performance and Supply Chain. It plans additional products later in the year, including Climate Risk and Reporting and Compliance. It also referenced Energy and Energy Efficiency products for energy management.

Schneider Electric stated its existing EcoStruxture Resource Advisor remains available for clients to use and purchase. The company described EcoStruxture Resource Advisor as a cloud-based platform for tracking and optimising energy and sustainability performance.

Carbon performance

Schneider Electric said the Carbon Performance product focuses on emissions tracking and decarbonisation programmes across an organisation. The company said the product provides auditable calculations aligned with the GHG Protocol across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.

It said the product includes functions for setting targets, modelling emissions reduction scenarios, and managing initiatives. Schneider Electric noted that Sera provides decision-ready carbon intelligence within the product.

Supply chain focus

The Supply Chain product forms the second initial offering. Schneider Electric said the product was previously known as Zeigo Hub.

Schneider Electric said the Supply Chain product addresses Scope 3 emissions across value chains and includes supplier engagement features. The product offers flexible data collection, tailored experiences for suppliers, and structured guidance aimed at adoption and measurable progress.

Market context

Enterprises have increased investment in sustainability reporting, emissions accounting, and supplier data collection as they respond to customer requirements and regulatory scrutiny. Vendors have also increased focus on connecting reporting tools with operational decision-making systems.

"As organisations face growing pressure to turn sustainability ambition into measurable action, platforms that unify data, intelligence, and execution are becoming essential," said Amy Cravens, Research Director, Sustainability and ESG Software, IDC.

"Schneider Electric's Resource Advisor+ reflects a meaningful evolution in sustainability management by combining deep domain expertise with AI‐driven workflows. By embedding advisory intelligence directly into the platform, Schneider Electric is helping enterprises move beyond reporting toward faster, more confident decisions that connect energy, emissions, and supply‐chain sustainability to real business outcomes,"  Cravens added.

Schneider Electric said SE Advisory Services operates in more than 100 countries and works across sustainability, energy, and digitalisation programmes. The company said Resource Advisor+ will expand through additional product releases within the ecosystem.
