SOTI offers same-day support as Windows 10 Anniversary updates kick in
Mon, 8th Aug 2016
FYI, this story is more than a year old

With the Windows 10 Anniversary updates now being implemented, enterprise mobility management provider SOTI is claiming it will support the new updates with a range of security features designed to support enterprises.

SOTI is offering same-day support through its MobiControl application, offering security that will cover endpoints and mobile device management. The company is making cybersecurity its focus, as its product provides information detection and protection against attacks. The application also allows IT administrators to secure, manage and optimise enterprise devices running Windows 10 Anniversary.

Windows 10 Anniversary will provide new features, including biometric security through Windows Hello, an updated Windows Defender, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, and Expanded Device Health Attestation Compatibility, an application that will allow devices running earlier platforms to become more security-detail compliant.

“SOTI has been managing all versions of Windows devices since 2001, establishing ourselves as the first to provide comprehensive device management for rugged Windows CE devices. Today, we continue to lead the industry in business-critical mobility management of Windows 10 endpoints ranging from smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops,” says Oscar Rambaldini, SOTI product management VP.

SOTI provides EMM solutions to more than 15,000 customers worldwide. In June, Gartner named the company a 'visionary' in the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites.

“At SOTI, we believe a unified solution is needed to address strategic mobility and IoT requirements, and we're proud that Gartner has placed SOTI as a visionary for the third consecutive year. “We've accomplished this while maintaining sustainable, profitable, double-digit year over year growth, rapidly expanding our global footprint, and staying true to our commitment to evolving MobiControl as a unified solution that exceeds our 15,000 worldwide customers' needs for advanced enterprise mobility deployments," SOTI CEO Carl Rodrigues said after the announcement.
