Touching base with our Aussie Audiences, and the launch of FutureFive AU!

11 Aug 17

Providing locally focused, relevant and up-to-date content is a big part of what we do here at Techday.

Having a presence on the ground is a great way to accomplish this, and strengthens our ability to provide the best material for our audiences across the globe.

That’s why I’m very excited to be signing on as Techday’s first Australian community editor.

I will be based in Sydney, although I will be able to work with people and attend events all around the country.

While I am mostly writing for ChannelLife Australia, IT Brief Australia and SecurityBrief Australia, I may also be working across other sites to lend a hand or give insight where needed

This is a great opportunity for our Australian sites to become stronger, supplementing the quality of expertise we provide on a daily basis.

Having an Australian editor will allow us to attend more events, make more contacts give us a greater capacity to cover nationally relevant stories.

It will also give us more insight into the Australian technology sector, whether that be enterprise, business, government, ICT channel or consumer technology.

This means looking at more trends, being better able to cover developing stories and getting more professional opinions and interviews.

We are also very excited to announce that our consumer site FutureFive is going to be officially launching in Australia on the 1st of September!

FutureFive is currently in operation in New Zealand and covers 5 main topic areas that we think are most exciting and futuristic technological spaces at the moment, they are;

This announcement marks the start of something great, and we'll look forward to establishing our FutureFive brand in the land of Oz, mark it in your diaries!

A profile of me was also recently published on by Craig Daveson, so for those who are after some additional background on me, and my new addition to the Techday team, click here.

I will be reaching out to enterprise, small business and ICT channel professionals in the coming weeks, with a potential to also talk to consumer tech professionals.

I hope to become an integral part of my team and the broader IT community, and I am determined to work extremely hard to achieve this.

If you would like to reach out to me, do not hesitate to shoot me an email at or call on +61 2 9133 8779.
