FYI, this story is more than a year old

UXC has divulged further details about the NSW government agency which has awarded it a three year contract, confirming today that the contract is a $25+ million deal with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy.

The deal will see UXC delivering service desk and end user computing support services for 7500 users across New South Wales.

The agreement includes the option of two two-year extensions.

Cris Nicolli, UXC managing director, says the multi-year contract is strategically important for UXC.

Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy are significant companies in the Australian market and the contract award continues our success in winning the trust of clients over multi-year contracts, adding to our annuity services portfolio,” Nicolli says.

“It also provides the opportunity to support and extend the business relationship with Ausgrid and Endeavour into the future.

UXC has been providing services to Ausgrid since 2003.

Nicolli says UXC's ability to meet core requirements around enhanced services, delivery quality and cost reduction through innovative approaches to service delivery, demonstrated the company's competitiveness to win the Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy contract.

Transitioning to delivery of services under the new contract has commenced, UXC says.

The deal is one of several deals the company has inked recently for a total of $100 million in new contracts.
