Adobe Express becomes default editor in Box platform

Box and Adobe have announced a partnership to integrate Adobe Express as the default image editor within the Box platform, aiming to enhance digital media management for enterprises.

The integration allows Box users to create, edit, and manage visual content directly within the Box environment, utilising Adobe Express, which combines Adobe's creative tools with Firefly-powered generative AI, promising safe and scalable deployments.

This feature aims to support a variety of teams, including marketing, HR, and sales, in creating compelling content while maintaining workflow security and management within Box's platform.

Adobe Express includes features designed to be commercially safe, empowering enterprises to confidently utilise AI tools.

This integration with Box presents new capabilities for Box's enterprise customers, enabling millions of users to quickly produce content necessary for their jobs without exiting the secure environment of Box.

This strategic partnership has enabled thousands of joint enterprise customers, including companies like Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Axiom Space, and BBC Studios, to transform content management practices using Adobe's tools within Box.

The integration empowers Box users to perform image manipulations such as cropping, resizing, and applying filters directly within Box, with the assurance that all changes are securely saved and managed. Additional features being developed include generating new images directly in Box and editing video files with Adobe Express's capabilities, enhancing the scope of content management options available to users.

Box and Adobe's longstanding partnership has focused on enhancing productivity by integrating document and creative tools within the Box platform.

This includes functionalities that allow Box users to view, edit, and manage PDFs with Adobe Acrobat, and manage creative content from Adobe Illustrator and other Creative Cloud applications.

The Adobe Express integration is now generally available to Box enterprise customers. Users can access these new capabilities within Box at no additional cost and without requiring a separate Adobe Express subscription.
