Allied Telesis unveils OneConnect for unified cloud management

Fri, 5th Dec 2025

Allied Telesis has announced a new cloud platform designed to give IT teams, managed service providers (MSPs), and partners unified management across their networks. The platform, OneConnect, aims to streamline network operations and accelerate automation for organisations handling both wired and wireless infrastructure.

Unified management

OneConnect offers a single cloud interface for network oversight. It covers visibility, orchestration, automation, and application integration. The unified dashboard provides users with detailed data in real time, allowing fast monitoring of network health, performance, and usage.

The company said the new interface allows IT personnel to solve issues more quickly. Operators can make decisions using a consolidated view, instead of switching between multiple tools. The aim is to reduce troubleshooting time and improve operational efficiency.

Automation and AI

OneConnect employs predictive analytics and an AI-powered network assistant as part of its features. The AI assistant is designed to help users automate tasks and troubleshoot issues, and will become more autonomous as the system evolves. Automation is provided for device onboarding and configuration, with zero-touch provisioning and intelligent updates to streamline processes.

"With OneConnect, Allied Telesis is reimagining network management for the cloud era. It's not just about connecting devices - it's about giving customers and partners the intelligence, simplicity, and flexibility to run their networks effortlessly. Our AI network assistant acts as a virtual expert available 24/7. It empowers users to save time and effort, allowing them to focus on higher-value tasks and enjoy greater autonomy," said Rahul Gupta, Chief Technology Officer, Allied Telesis.

Integration and APIs

To enable integration within partner ecosystems, OneConnect includes support for open APIs, as well as standard protocols such as RADIUS and SNMP. This allows organisations to connect their existing applications and third-party tools, and to extend visibility to devices and endpoints including IoT equipment.

MSPs can manage multiple customer environments via a multi-tenant architecture, using a single interface. This design supports easier onboarding and the ability for partners to expand their services without significant additional overhead.

Commercial model

The new cloud management product will be available with a subscription-based licensing system. Customers and partners can manage mixed device types under a single contract renewal, an approach the company suggests will reduce procurement complexity and facilitate predictable costs.

The licensing model has been developed to appeal to both enterprises and MSPs, offering co-term flexibility to accommodate growing and varied network requirements.

Security and compliance

Allied Telesis built OneConnect on a secure, scalable, and cloud-native architecture. The platform incorporates role-based access control and tenant isolation to provide for privacy and data protection. Allied Telesis stated that OneConnect complies with GDPR and other international data protection standards, offering features designed to ensure network resilience and regulatory compliance.

Continuous development

Organisations currently using Vista Manager, the company's previous network management solution, will continue to be supported. Allied Telesis said this will give customers the choice of management approach best suited to their requirements. The company is rolling out OneConnect to customers and partners through an early access phase, with ongoing enhancements planned for automation, analytics, and orchestration capabilities.
