ATech launches second round of its tech startup incubator

Yesterday

ATech has announced the launch of the second round of its ATech Boost incubator programme, tailored to support high-potential tech startups with significant resources designed to foster growth.

The ATech Boost incubator programme offers selected tech startups with $100,000 in free cloud hosting credits, technical guidance, and business mentoring. Startups can apply until 3 April 2025, provided they meet the requirements including holding an Australian Business Number (ABN) and having fewer than 50 employees.

The programme includes $100,000 worth of cloud hosting credits which allows startups to utilise advanced hosting solutions without financial constraints during the incubation period. Additionally, participants are granted 36 hours of technical consultation from ATech's technical experts, and 10 hours of business growth mentoring to assist in scaling their businesses in a competitive market.

Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, Managing Director of ATech, said of the initiative, "We were thrilled with the impact of Round 1 and are excited to support the next wave of innovative startups in Round 2 of the ATech Boost incubator."

She highlighted the significance of venture funding, noting, "With $4 billion invested into Aussie startups last year, it's clear that the ecosystem is thriving. However, only 7% of that funding flowed into Queensland, and an even smaller share reached startups with all-female founders. ATech Boost is about more than just funding - it's a platform for startups to gain the resources, expertise and support needed to drive meaningful growth."

One of the beneficiaries of the inaugural ATech Boost incubator programme was GreenKPI. This company, which focuses on sustainability consulting software, successfully participated after a thorough selection process. Johanna Kloot, CEO of GreenKPI, commented on their experience, "Being part of the ATech Boost incubator has been a game-changer for GreenKPI. The programme provided invaluable support, helping us refine our technology, scale our impact and improve value to our customers."

She encouraged other startups to apply for the programme by stating, "ATech Boost has been instrumental in accelerating our mission, and I encourage startups looking to make a real impact to seize this opportunity and apply for Round 2."

ATech has a longstanding commitment to bolstering Australia's tech ecosystem, having collaborated with over 300 founders across Queensland. These collaborations have focused on providing education, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The company's expertise includes offering scalable and secure digital solutions, having supported organisations such as Airservices Australia, Virgin Australia, Seqwater, and Brisbane City Council.
