AUCloud partners with VMware for white-label solution support
Wed, 27th Mar 2024

Secure cloud and cyber security provider AUCloud has affirmed its support for Australian Managed Service Providers (MSPs) by announcing a partnership with VMware by Broadcom. This collaboration seeks to provide MSPs with a White-Labelled solution, ensuring reliable VMware cloud services and solutions.

The partnership responds to several changes that arose following Broadcom's acquisition of VMware in late 2023. This acquisition led to alterations in VMware's approach to product offerings and its reseller and cloud-hosting models. These included a shift from perpetual software licenses to a subscription-based model and the phased discontinuation of the VMware Cloud Provider Program (VCPP).

According to AUCloud's CEO, Peter Maloney, this new agreement solidifies the company's commitment to its customers. He stated, "AUCloud's new Premier Partner status reaffirmed an ongoing commitment to providing government, enterprise and Managed Service Providers (MSP) customers with robust VMware cloud solutions and availability."

Recognised for its work supporting Australian government and enterprise customers, AUCloud holds various commendations, including VMware Sovereign Cloud, VMware Cloud Verified, ISO 27001, and IRAP to Assessed to Protected.

Mr Maloney highlighted AUCloud's track record of assisting the Australian government and enterprise clients. He expressed excitement about AUCloud's participation in the VMware by Broadcom Partner Advantage Program, stating that AUCloud is pleased to provide a range of VMware solutions, including a White Label solution, to support VSCP Registered Partners.

"AUCloud has a rich history of supporting Australian government and enterprise customers. Under the VMware by Broadcom new Partner Advantage Program, AUCloud is thrilled to offer comprehensive VMware solutions, including a White Label solution to support VSCP Registered Partners," noted Mr Maloney.

The company's support for current VMware Cloud Providers (VCPP) remains steady. AUCloud is assisting VSCP Registered Partners with a White-Labelled offering as part of the Partner Advantage Program. This White Label offering is an integral part of the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program for VMware provided by AUCloud, supporting VSCP Registered Partners.

As a Premier partner, referred to as 'Primary', AUCloud is providing licensing and support, with optional hosting, to Registered partners, referred to as 'Secondary', enabling them to run their own branded services through AUCloud. This partnership with VMware by Broadcom demonstrates AUCloud's dedication to its current and potential partners, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the growth of MSPs in the future.
