.au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) has announced two new Appointed Directors to the auDA Board as well as revealing the trio of candidates for the Elected Director Ballot.

The newly appointed directors who will join the auDA Board are Tara Commerford and Thu-Trang Tran. Both will begin their terms following the Annual General Meeting on 15th November 2023.

In addition to these appointments, auDA will hold an Elected Director Ballot to fill an additional position on the board. As such, on 19th October 2023, a ballot will open, giving auDA members the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate.

Sally Basser, Peter Elford, and Maha Krisnapillai are up for election, offering a diverse field of potential directors for the ballot. The management and conduct of the Elected Director Ballot are under the independent oversight of Link Market Services. All auDA members are eligible to vote, with the electronic ballot closing at 5pm on 13th November 2023.

The successful candidate from the ballot will be announced during the Annual General Meeting on 15th November 2023, commencing their term on the board immediately following the meeting.

In the leadup to these new appointments, there have been some departures from the auDA Board. Matt Healy resigned from the board on 30th September 2023 to pursue another role. Additionally, Jacqueline Korhonen will leave the board when her term concludes on 15th November 2023.

In line with the auDA Constitution, the Board is set to consist of five Appointed Directors, four Elected Directors, and one Independent Chairperson. As such, Alan Cameron AO continues his role as an Appointed Director and the Independent Chairperson of the auDA Board. Similarly, Sandra Davey, Sandra Hook, and Alice McCleary are continuing their terms as Appointed Directors while Angelo Giuffrida, Wendy Thorpe, and Mike Trovato are ongoing Elected Directors.
