Australian Unity appoints New General Manager of Enterprise Data

Australian Unity, the member-owned wellbeing company, has named Craig Rowlands as its new General Manager of Enterprise Data, effective from 7 August. Rowlands, the current Director of Data Technology at Bupa, is renowned for his data-centric approach, breadth of data and analytics knowledge, and proven track record across multi-industry sectors.

"Mr Rowlands' exceptional experience and expertise will play an important role in the growth and transformation of the Group's technology functions," comments Mark Gay, Group Executive for Technology at Australian Unity. Rowlands is expected to deliver a data strategy and roadmap that aligns with Australian Unity's business objectives.

Gay emphasized that advancing digital technologies within the organization could potentially boost productivity, growth, and engagement with their members and customers. He adds, "Mr Rowlands has held senior leadership positions in Technology, and he will bring new insights into how we can leverage data analysis and technology to support our customers."
