Thu, 16th Feb 2023
FYI, this story is more than a year old

BankiFi, a leading provider of embedded banking solutions, has announced the appointment of Steve Ellis as the newest member of its board. The move is part of BankiFi's recent focus on the North American market. With over 35 years of experience in banking, leadership, and financial services, Ellis was formerly the executive vice president and head of the innovation group at Wells Fargo, having previously spearheaded their wholesale services group.

In his new role as a board member, Ellis will be responsible for establishing the organization's vision and providing proper financial oversight. Speaking about his appointment, Ellis said, "BankiFi's unique strategy to providing specialized banking solutions is perfectly suited to helping millions of small businesses across America. I'm excited to join the team over at BankiFi on the ground level of their North American operations."

Fred Dumas, U.S. Board Chair for BankiFi Americas, expressed his excitement about Ellis joining the team. "We couldn't be happier to have Steve as our newest board member. When Steve led Wholesale Banking at Wells Fargo, his visions of a CEO treasury management system were brought to life. This became the benchmark for the industry. His vision and leadership will be of great help to our board. We're already looking on track to have a breakthrough year for us in 2023."

Ellis has been deeply committed to environmental causes for decades, and he and his wife, Nicole, are actively involved in My Friends Place, a non-profit focused on assisting homeless youth in the Los Angeles area. With his vast experience in banking and his commitment to social causes, Ellis is well-suited to help BankiFi continue to grow and thrive in the North American market.
