Bizcap lifts Fast Business Loan limit to AUD $1 million
Tue, 27th Oct 2026 (Today)
Bizcap has doubled the limit on its Fast Business Loan to AUD $1 million for eligible Australian small and medium-sized businesses.
The non-bank lender said the increase from AUD $500,000 followed demand from businesses and referral partners for larger unsecured funding arrangements. It is aimed particularly at more established SMEs seeking finance for expansion, equipment, stock, staffing and other business needs.
The loans do not require property security and retain the existing streamlined application and assessment process, with decisions based on each business's circumstances.
The move comes as lenders compete for a larger share of the SME finance market, where businesses often seek alternatives to traditional bank loans for working capital and short-term funding. For non-bank providers, speed of approval and flexibility on security remain key points of competition.
Bizcap said it had provided more than AUD $5 billion in funding to SMEs across its markets so far in 2026. It operates in Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe and Canada.
Tony Truong, Chief Credit Officer at Bizcap, said the lender was seeing demand from businesses that needed larger sums without a slower process.
"Businesses don't suddenly become less time-sensitive because they need $750,000 rather than $250,000," Truong said.
"We're seeing established Australian businesses with significant funding requirements that still value speed, flexibility and a lender willing to understand the individual business. Increasing our Fast Business Loan limit to $1 million means we can support more of those businesses without fundamentally changing what makes the product work for SMEs," he said.
The higher loan ceiling forms part of a broader expansion of Bizcap's funding products in Australia. The lender has also extended its Line of Credit Ultra feature for eligible businesses, offering 0% interest for the first four weeks.
According to Bizcap, that extension also followed interest from advisers and referral partners. The product is designed to give businesses more control over cash flow.
Zalman Blachman, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Bizcap, said the latest change reflected demand from both borrowers and intermediaries.
"We're seeing strong demand from businesses and our referral partners for larger, more flexible funding options. Raising this limit allows us to meet that demand while giving more Australian SMEs reliable access to the capital they need to grow," Blachman said.
Bizcap also pointed to recent industry recognition for its business lending and customer service operations. It said it received Outstanding Customer Service - Business Loans for the third consecutive year, alongside Best for Line of Credit, at the 2026 WeMoney Business Awards.
Blachman said the result reflected the lender's approach to SME finance.
"These awards reflect the importance of delivering funding solutions that genuinely meet the needs of SMEs, backed by exceptional service. The increased Fast Business Loan limit builds on that commitment, allowing us to support more businesses with the speed, flexibility and service they expect from Bizcap," he said.
Founded in 2019, Bizcap said it has funded more than 100,000 SMEs globally. The new AUD $1 million Fast Business Loan limit is now available to eligible Australian businesses.
