BP3 has appointed Richard Neish as Chief Executive Officer, with a mandate to expand the company's business in North America and Europe.

Neish takes over as BP3 looks to strengthen its position in agentic orchestration, a market becoming more important as large organisations move from testing individual AI agents to managing how agents, staff, processes and systems work together under governance controls. North America is central to that effort, with the US already accounting for more than half of BP3's revenue.

The consultancy works with enterprise customers in regulated sectors including financial services, healthcare, energy, retail and telecommunications. It focuses on process automation, workload automation and AI advisory services, with operations across North America and Europe.

Neish joins from Crosstide, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Kin + Carta, including Chief Strategy Officer, and was involved in the company's expansion across Europe, North America and Latin America.

His appointment reflects a broader shift in corporate technology spending as businesses look for ways to connect AI systems to existing operating structures rather than deploy them in isolation. In many regulated industries, the challenge is less about creating a single automated tool than about establishing oversight, accountability and decision records across complex workflows.

Neish will lead BP3's global executive team, with responsibility for growth tied to that demand. The company has built partnerships around process orchestration and workload management, including work with Camunda and Broadcom technologies.

Camunda has named BP3 a platinum partner, reflecting its work in process orchestration. BP3 also has an established workload automation practice using Broadcom technologies, including Automic, to manage workloads across large enterprise environments.

In comments released with the appointment, Neish outlined how he sees the market developing.

"Agentic orchestration is the natural evolution of the process automation leadership BP3 has built its reputation on for nearly two decades. The enterprise customers we work with don't want to throw out the structure, compliance, and control they've invested in - they want to extend it with agents that can make judgment calls inside those guardrails. The hard part isn't building a single clever agent; it's coordinating agents and people together across business-critical processes, with a clear record of who - or what - made each decision, and why. This is precisely where BP3 excels and I'm looking forward to working with our expert staff and market-leading partners to innovate and scale our customer's agentic success," said Richard Neish, Chief Executive Officer, BP3.

The appointment gives BP3 a chief executive with more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology consulting and data and AI transformation. That background is likely to be relevant as consultancies compete to advise large organisations on adopting AI in ways that fit existing compliance requirements and operating models.

While much recent corporate focus in AI has centred on creating assistants and task-specific tools, companies in regulated sectors have faced added pressure to show how outputs are governed and how decisions are tracked. That has opened a market for service providers that can connect AI systems to process management, workflow controls and audit trails.

BP3's existing business is already weighted toward that type of customer. Founded in 2007, the company has focused on enterprise organisations with complex operational and regulatory needs. That customer base has helped make the US its largest market, according to information released alongside Neish's appointment.

Andrew Littlejohns, Chair of BP3, called the leadership change timely for the next phase of adoption. "Richard brings highly relevant leadership and experience at precisely the moment our industry is shifting from experimenting with AI agents to orchestrating at scale in regulated industries that demand clear guardrails. Richard has the combination of strategic thinking, commercial ambition and operational discipline to drive BP3 onto its next stage of growth," said Littlejohns.
