Cabrini chooses Claroty to secure assets and improve efficiency
Medigate by Claroty, healthcare's clinical device data security and integration platform, has announced a new partnership with Cabrini Technology Group, the largest medical technology service provider in Australia and New Zealand.
Following a comprehensive market analysis, Cabrini has selected Medigate to enhance their specialised biomedical managed services portfolio and add critical medical device cybersecurity capabilities to address the growing threats within healthcare environments, the company states.
Through this partnership, Medigate and Cabrini address device safety and security, threat detection and remediation, and device efficiency optimisation, marrying best-in-class industry expertise across technology, people and process.
Medigate collaborates directly with device manufacturers and delivers unique insights that provide visibility into the manufacturers' remediation process directly within the platform. This enables biomedical teams to accurately plan and optimise resource allocation and maintenance windows well in advance.
Medigate by Claroty is a modular, SaaS-powered healthcare cybersecurity platform that scales to protect the Extended Internet of Things (XIoT) across healthcare environments, which includes all IoMT, OT, IoT and IT systems. It provides the data and tools to a single location so organisations can securely manage and improve their interconnected environment.
With more than 2,000 deployments protecting millions of devices worldwide, Medigate allows healthcare organisations to connect with confidence, without interruption or risk to patient safety.
Tim Staker, Chief of Cabrini Technology Group, commented, "Utilising the power of intelligent cybersecurity monitoring, the depth and breadth of device-level data, analytics, as well as the skills and expertise of a trained biomedical engineering team, Cabrini Technology delivers an unmatched service capability for managing the full lifecycle of a hospital's medical assets.
"With the significant growth of connected medical devices, real-time utilisation data, in lieu of estimates or manual collection of data over time, adds greater accuracy to emergency preparedness and capital planning initiatives. The addition of the award-winning Medigate platform to our services offering allows hospitals to get on with delivering best-in-class healthcare with the comfort that their assets are secure."
Cabrini has also signed on to Medigate's Partner-Ready Operational Services (PROS), the industry's first healthcare-specialised cyber-physical services program to assist organisations in making meaningful progress towards their security goals. The program leverages Medigate's security operations maturity roadmap, which gives healthcare providers an effective, standards-driven way to responsibly scale their security operations.
Jonathan Langer, COO of Claroty and former CEO and co-founder of Medigate, added, "The combined value of Cabrini Technology's expertise in biomedical engineering with Medigate's healthcare cybersecurity platform is significant and brings both high-value service and actionable information to healthcare organisations across the ANZ region."
