Pax8 has announced its expansion into Australia and New Zealand, meaning Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the regions can now have access to the likes of the company's marketplace, support and education programs.
The U.S. based company looks to modernise how businesses buy, sell and manage cloud.
Pax8 says it simplifies the buying journey, empowering its partners to achieve more with cloud technology. It says its service displaces legacy distribution by connecting the channel ecosystem to its transactional cloud marketplace.
The company says it is also known for its billing, provisioning, automation, industry-leading PSA integrations, pre and post-sales support, and education.
Pax8 chief revenue officer Nick Heddy says it's excellent that MSPs in Australia and New Zealand can now sign up to be a Pax8 partner.
“Pax8 makes it easy for partners to cloud-enable businesses and efficiently capitalise on the growth opportunities,” he says
“We are thrilled to introduce our leadership team in Australia and New Zealand and empower our expansion into the new regions with best of breed vendors.
Pax8 Asia senior vice president Chris Sharp leads the Australia and New Zealand team.
“Pax8 is bringing something special and unique to our market, and I am excited to lead our expansion into the Asian markets starting in the Australia and New Zealand markets,” he says.
“Our focus is on enabling our partners to create value-based offerings for their clients, and we look forward to helping our partners to increase their opportunity in the market.
Joining Sharp is Tracy Lacewell, the Pax8 Asia vice president of sales, who will be responsible for leading sales in Australia and New Zealand, as well as strategic expansion into the regions.
Pax8 Asia vice president of business development James Bergl is also a part of the team, and he will lead the company's pre-sales teams, consulting groups, and education programs.
Heddy says this expansion is only the beginning.
“This team is highly regarded in the channel and well-positioned to expand Pax8 operations into Asia, starting with Australia and New Zealand,” he says.
Partners with Pax8 can now purchase products from vendors such as Acronis, Check Point's email security group, Bitdefender, CyberCNS, Proofpoint and SentinelOne, which all specialise in cyber protection.
There's also Dropsuite, which automatically backs up data for Microsoft 365 and Google workspace.
Pax8 has ranked in the Inc. 5000 for four consecutive years — 68th in 2018, 60th in 2019, 111th in 2020, and 164th in 2021 — as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
