CyberArk strengthens leadership with Omer Grossman & Ariel Pisetzky
CyberArk has announced the appointment of Omer Grossman as Chief Trust Officer and Head of CYBR Unit, with Ariel Pisetzky named as Chief Information Officer.
The company stated that these executive appointments are intended to strengthen its leadership team and support growth and operational strategies. Grossman, who joined CyberArk as Chief Information Officer in 2022, will take on a newly established position focusing on fostering trust among customers, partners, and particularly among CISO and CIO communities.
In his expanded remit, Grossman is expected to support increased customer engagement, contribute to thought leadership, and guide digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, he will oversee the CYBR Unit, which brings together advisory and consulting services, adversary simulation and incident response, and cybersecurity research.
Pisetzky, who succeeds Grossman as Chief Information Officer, joins CyberArk following more than two decades in IT leadership roles. Most recently, Pisetzky was Vice President of Information Technology & Cyber at Taboola, where he managed IT strategy and global infrastructure. He is also active in the Team8 CISO Village, a global network of cybersecurity executives.
"Ariel's proven ability to build world-class IT organisations and Omer's expanded leadership role reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation, trust, and operational excellence," said Matt Cohen, CEO, CyberArk. "We're thrilled to welcome Ariel to CyberArk and congratulate Omer on his new role. Their leadership will be instrumental as we continue to deliver on our strategy, deepen customer trust, and advance our vision that every identity must be secured with the right level of privilege controls."
According to CyberArk, the CYBR Unit will focus on providing expert advisory functions to help organisations assess their security posture. The unit is set up to deliver consulting services, adversary cyber simulations, incident response, and to promote thought leadership on topics critical to identity security. The CYBR Unit is designed to collaborate closely with executives to ensure security strategies align with business objectives.
Grossman's new responsibilities will include outreach to cyber security leaders within the company's partner ecosystem and customer base. The company said his remit will extend to providing guidance and insights as organisations pursue digital transformation and modernisation of identity security practices.
Pisetzky will oversee IT engineering, operations, business applications, data and artificial intelligence, and security. Bringing his experience in managing large-scale information technology systems and infrastructure, Pisetzky is expected to continue CyberArk's focus on operational reliability and security.
The appointments come as the company continues to emphasise identity security approaches that protect both human and machine identities. Its identity security platform uses artificial intelligence to manage privileged access and provide continuous threat monitoring throughout the identity lifecycle.
CyberArk's leadership changes underscore its approach to supporting secure access for all users, including IT, developers, and machines, with the aim of providing zero trust and least privilege access throughout enterprise networks.
