Dayforce unveils platform to streamline staff communication

Today

Dayforce has announced the launch of Dayforce Communications, a platform designed to streamline communication for organisations across the entire employee lifecycle.

HR teams often face challenges with the manual creation of communications for candidates, employees, and alumni, as many legacy tools address niche needs, requiring materials to be repopulated on multiple platforms.

This process necessitates holding numerous costly licenses for disparate systems. Dayforce Communications seeks to alleviate these burdens by offering a unified, scalable solution.

The new offering promises to enhance the employee journey by enabling efficient multi-channel communications. Users will have the capability to create engagement-centric communities and peer-to-peer chats, notify frontline workers about performance updates through AI-enhanced messages, and alert prospective employees about upcoming job fairs via email.

This approach aims to deliver precise information to the relevant individuals in a timely manner, streamlining operations and reducing both time expenditure and system ownership costs.

Chief Strategy, Product, and Technology Officer at Dayforce, Joe Korngiebel, remarked, "The nature of today's workforce accelerated the need for efficient, effective, and secure communication across the entire employee lifecycle. By using an AI-enhanced approach, Dayforce Communications will fill that need by helping streamline and automate a crucial yet time-consuming process, expanding on the Dayforce promise to deliver simplicity at scale."

Dayforce Communications is poised to offer benefits across various sectors and organisation sizes, giving particular attention to frontline industries that encounter unique communication challenges in deskless environments.

As mobile devices outnumber computers in these settings, the lack of dedicated communication tools is evident. Recent Dayforce research indicates that nearly 40% of surveyed frontline workers lack access to a dedicated work communication app, with 23% of participants having no centralised place for company information.

The communication challenges faced by these employees have been a driving factor in the development of Dayforce Communications.

The solution seeks to foster engagement, retention, and productivity by ensuring communication remains equitable and accessible, providing a streamlined method to share information with large groups of people effectively.

Dayforce Communications is expected to be available to Dayforce customers starting in 2025.
