Deel, a global HR and payroll company, has announced a new integration with SAP that aims to sync HR and payroll systems more securely and efficiently. This collaboration will enable businesses to consolidate their HR data from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and payroll data from Deel, enhancing decision-making by providing a unified source of truth.
The integration is activated by connecting Deel and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central through registration and authentication of a unique API. This setup allows automatic data transfer between the two platforms, thereby facilitating seamless payroll execution without the need to switch between systems.
This development promises immediate benefits for businesses. Companies can trigger employee onboarding, offboarding, and compensation changes directly from within SAP. Furthermore, the integration synchronizes core employee data, local payroll fields, and bank details into a single view, enhancing the efficiency of HR processes. Users can also manage time-off requests, sync payslip PDFs, activate one-time payments, and handle expenses, all within Deel.
Ryan Freeman, Head of Partnerships at Deel, said, "IT stacks, and in turn, business decisions, can quickly become complicated when critical employee data is siloed. This separation can create administrative burden, wasted time, and drive inefficiencies at a real cost to businesses. Deel is proud to partner with SAP to help alleviate these inefficiencies by streamlining employee and HR data in one place. HR leaders will have a more consolidated view of their business health to make better decisions faster."
This integration aims to reduce the administrative burden and increase operational efficiency by eliminating the siloed nature of HR and payroll data. By integrating these critical systems, businesses can achieve a more holistic view of their operations, resulting in faster and more informed decision-making processes.
The new integration is now available for businesses using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Deel. It can be accessed via the SAP Store, which offers a digital customer experience for finding, trying, buying, and renewing over 2,300 solutions from SAP and its partners. SAP commits to planting a tree for each purchase made through the SAP Store.
