Marking nine years of pioneering display innovation, Dell Technologies has unveiled the world's first 40-inch 5K monitor with a five-star certification for eye comfort from TUV Rheinland. Introduced at CES 2024, the Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW) deserves its spot as the CES 2024 Innovation Award Honoree.

The U4025QW exhibits exemplary visual performance, making it perfect for professionals such as content creators, data scientists, or engineers. With this innovation, Dell bridges the gap for ultimate performance enthusiasts looking for the best technology and design in their monitors. Its curved VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified monitor with IPS Black Panel technology offers vivid colours and intricate detailing in 5K resolution (5120x2160).

As part of Dell's ongoing commitment to providing the best viewing experience and enhancing eye wellness, it partnered with TUV Rheinland to achieve the new industry standard for eye comfort. By doubling the refresh rate to 120Hz, integrating an ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness and colour temperature and reducing harmful blue light exposure to less than 35% through Dell ComfortView Plus, the tech giant aims to alleviate signs of eye fatigue.

Aside from outstanding visual performance and eye comfort features, the U4025QW is also built to accommodate colour accuracy tasks. It boasts 99% DCI-P3 / Display P3 colour space and Dell Color Management software that allows users to calibrate their screen colours easily.

Moreover, the monitor's Thunderbolt 4 connectivity offers single-cable convenience with up to 140W power delivery, and its Ethernet connectivity runs at 2.5 Gbps. These features indeed deliver precision, productivity, and convenience.

For customers seeking a smaller-sized display, Dell is also launching the UltraSharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE). With a WQHD resolution (2560x1440) and advanced features similar to the U4025QW, including the TUV Rheinland five-star eye comfort certification, it is an alternative option for different user needs.

In line with Dell's growing commitment to sustainability, both the U4025QW and U3425WE monitors are produced using eco-friendly materials. The packaging is made from 100% recycled and/or renewable content, and the products comprise of 85% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and 100% recycled aluminium.

Also, these products meet noteworthy environmental standards such as EnergyStar and TCO Certified Edge and are EPEAT Gold registered. As an EPEAT Climate+ champion, Dell elevates the market optimisation for sustainability and emissions reductions.

According to Dell Technologies, these advances offer customers the opportunity to appreciate and experience unparalleled monitor technology. Its commitment to constantly raising the standard for screen performance is setting new precedents on creativity, productivity, and environmental responsibility in the tech industry.
