FYI, this story is more than a year old

Australian Country Choice (ACC) has chosen DXC Technology to transform the company's end-to-end supply chain operations.

ACC is a Queensland-based cattle, beef and food processing company.

Under an agreement, DXC will deliver a comprehensive end-to-end cloud solution with the aim of transforming business operations, driving innovation and growth, and building a future-proof organisation.

As a vertically integrated cattle and beef supply chain organisation, ACC is dedicated to the best-practice supply of high-quality meat products to domestic and export markets.

The company continues to grow its market presence in Australia and internationally.

The company's operations encompass cattle breeding, backgrounding and lot feeding to meat processing, retail packing and distribution.

As its business model has evolved, ACC recognises a greater need for improved business insights and traceability that will allow the company to scale and grow, according to a statement.

DXC will implement Oracle's Fusion Cloud Applications.

This aims to enable ACC to make smarter decisions that turn traditional supply chains into agile integrated system, and brings value throughout the end-to-end operations process.

The solution will replace the current platform of disparate systems, processes and controls as well as key-person-dependency, and will deliver a modern user experience and allow for continuous innovation across every business function including finance, human resources, supply chain, manufacturing, sales and distribution, the company states.

Australian Country Choice group chief financial officer Michael Brown says, “Australian Country Choice is pursuing a transformation of its operating platforms, seeking to modernise, integrate, automate and digitise its systems.

"The main aspiration for this transformation is to create a single tool that can be used consistently across our business to support our growth strategy. With new product lines being launched, our aim is to grow our footprint in both local and international markets; this new solution will help us achieve our goal.

DXC Red Rock practice director Richard James says, “DXC is delighted to collaborate with Australian Country Choice to deliver an Oracle Cloud SaaS solution that will help to realise value across the Enterprise Technology Stack.

"Our deep knowledge of the agribusiness industry coupled with our expertise delivering integrated enterprise applications solutions will allow us to support Australian Country Choice as they continue to provide superior customer service and strive to realise their expansion plans.

Oracle ANZ general manager ERP - HCM John Leonard says, “Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications is the world's most complete cloud applications suite.

"Engineered to work together, these applications will allow Australian Country Choice to benefit from the latest advances in technology while delivering a modern user experience to its employees.

"Our commitment to relentlessly innovate on behalf of our customers means Australian Country Choice has invested in a solution that will keep pace with growth via quarterly updates across the critical business functions of finance, human resources and supply chain.
