Thu, 25th Jul 2024

Dynabook has introduced two new E11 Series laptops equipped with Windows 11 Pro Education, targeting the K-12 education sector across Australia and New Zealand.

The newly available E11-A and E11W-A models feature 11.6-inch screens and are offered in both traditional clamshell and convertible 2-in-1 configurations. According to Dynabook, these devices are designed to enhance hybrid learning and meet the varied needs of schools and students.

Angela Walker, General Manager at Dynabook ANZ, said, "We are excited to offer the Dynabook E11 Series laptops and 2-in-1's for educators and students. These two new models embody Dynabook's dedication to the education sector, empowering the next generation of learners and providing them with the tools they need to succeed in today's and tomorrow's digital world."

The E11-A and E11W-A laptops are powered by upgraded processors, feature faster memory, and integrate Wi-Fi 6E technology to support improved performance and connectivity. Dynabook noted that these enhancements are designed to support the increasing technological demands within classrooms.

The product line offers flexible configurations to suit a range of learning environments. The clamshell E11-A model is available with touch screen options, providing increased interactivity, while the E11W 2-in-1 convertible includes a smart pen with Windows Ink support to facilitate creative learning and collaboration.

Durability has been a key consideration in the design of the E11 Series. Both models come equipped with rubber bumpers, spill-resistant keyboards, and mechanically anchored keys to support long-term use in school settings. These features are intended to minimise downtime and maintenance requirements for school IT departments.

Connectivity features have been built into each Dynabook E11 model. These include HDMI, USB, LAN and Bluetooth ports. The laptops also include external power and Wi-Fi indicator lights, aimed at assisting educators in managing device connectivity and student engagement during lessons.

Battery life in the E11 Series is intended to last through a typical school day, with high-capacity batteries in both models. Dynabook stated that this supports the high demand for reliable devices as digital tools become more integrated into classroom activities.

Addressing the operating system, Angela Walker stated, "Equipping our E11 series laptops with Windows 11 Pro Education OS offers numerous advantages to both students, educators, and school IT staff. Windows 11 Pro Education OS seamlessly supports both locally installed and web apps, catering to remote or classroom learning scenarios with ease."

Pricing for the E11-A starts from AUD $700, while the E11W-A begins at AUD $840, inclusive of GST. Both models are available through Dynabook's channel partners and authorised resellers.

Dynabook indicated that its E11 Series have been engineered not only for performance and reliability but also with the flexibility required by contemporary educators. The goal is to facilitate a smoother transition for students into digital workflows, supporting both classroom and remote learning experiences.

All devices are manufactured in Dynabook's own-operated facilities, which the company states are intended to ensure consistent quality and reliability across their product range. The E11 Series constitutes the latest addition to Dynabook's portfolio of laptops developed specifically for the needs of schools and students.
