Dynatrace appoints James McCready as Vice President of Asia Pacific, Japan

Dynatrace, a leader in unified observability and security, has announced the appointment of James McCready as Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan. McCready, based in Singapore, will be responsible for driving the company's growth strategy across the region. He will also be tasked with supporting customers through the development of innovative observability, security, and business analytics and automation solutions.

McCready brings more than 25 years of sales management and leadership experience to Dynatrace. He has previously held roles in several high-profile technological companies, demonstrating a solid track record of growth and diversification.

Prior to Dynatrace, McCready was Vice President and Managing Director at ServiceNow, a company offering cloud-based platforms and solutions. In his role, he was responsible for regional business strategy for growth and diversification, successfully managing the partner strategy with distributors, resellers, and global systems integrators across the region.

Before his tenure at ServiceNow, McCready spearheaded Adobe's operations in the Japan region as President. Subsequently, he took on increased responsibilities and served as the President of Asia Pacific and Japan. During his four-year tenure at Adobe, McCready led his teams to grow the business by a noteworthy 200 per cent.

Furthermore, McCready has also held several key roles at EMC Corporation and Dell in his impressive career span of over two decades. His most recent position with the firms was as Vice President of APJ, Converged Platforms, demonstrating his significant level of expertise in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Upon his appointment, McCready stated, "Dynatrace is committed to serving the region's customers with the best technology available, helping organisations optimise cloud costs, enhance data observability, and reduce the carbon footprint."
