Earn Qantas Points on bills with Sniip partnership
Australian payment platform Sniip has today announced a new partnership with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, providing Australians with the opportunity to earn Qantas Points when paying everyday bills.
Since its establishment in 2014, Sniip has facilitated payments for over 140,000 customers, processing more than one million transactions. Under the new agreement, customers paying bills such as rent, utilities, school fees, and even ATO payments through the Sniip app will now be rewarded with Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
Starting from April, new Sniip customers will benefit from an introductory offer of 5000 bonus Qantas Points after making three bill payments totalling at least $1000 within their first 60 days of joining the service. Both new and existing customers will earn one Qantas Point for every $10 spent on eligible payments through the platform.
Damien Vasta, Founder and CEO of Sniip, said: "We've always believed that paying bills shouldn't feel like a chore. By partnering with Qantas Frequent Flyer, we're turning everyday expenses into rewards, offering our customers more value for doing something they already have to do."
This collaboration comes at a particularly relevant time, as many Australians grapple with rising living costs, turning routine financial obligations into opportunities for rewards. The initiative also broadens the range of financial products and services available for Qantas Frequent Flyer members seeking additional ways to earn points.
Simon Rowlands, Executive Manager Financial Services at Qantas Loyalty, emphasised the value of this new arrangement for Qantas members. He said: "Australians love earning Qantas Points. Our partnership with Sniip provides a new and exciting way for members to earn points on their everyday personal bill payments, helping them get even more value out of being a Qantas Frequent Flyer."
The partnership underscores the growing trend among businesses aiming to provide added value to customers facing financial pressures. By incentivising routine bill payments with frequent flyer points, Sniip and Qantas are positioned to attract consumers seeking both practicality and rewards from essential transactions.
As cost-of-living pressures remain high on the national agenda, particularly in the context of an ongoing election campaign, the partnership offers timely benefits for Australian consumers and businesses alike.
The Sniip platform, which simplifies bill payments by consolidating various types of payments into a single mobile application, now provides the added appeal of tangible rewards, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
