EcoFlow unveils DELTA 2 Max portable power station
Mon, 26th Feb 2024

EcoFlow has recently unveiled the DELTA 2 Max portable power station in Australia, marking a significant advancement in portable energy solutions for outdoor enthusiasts and those desiring increased comfort at home. The DELTA 2 Max stands out with its exceptional capacity and versatility, aimed at meeting the diverse electricity needs of its users, from RV trips and 4WD excursions to providing a backup power source at home.

Expansive Capacity for Diverse Needs

The DELTA 2 Max offers a substantial base capacity of 2,048Wh, expandable to an impressive 6,144Wh, with the addition of two extra batteries. This feature enables the power station to support a wide array of appliances and devices for extended durations. Users can expect to run a portable fridge for up to 29 hours, operate a coffee maker for 1.6 hours, or charge a smartphone up to 143 times, showcasing the unit's capability to cater to a broad range of power needs.

Ultra-Fast Charging Technology

A notable attribute of the DELTA 2 Max is its ultra-fast charging capability, made possible through EcoFlow’s patented X-Stream technology. This innovation facilitates industry-leading charging speeds with an AC input of 2300W and a maximum solar input of 1000W. The device can achieve a full charge via AC in just 81 minutes or through solar power in about 2.3 hours. Additionally, its dual charging feature, which combines AC and solar inputs, allows the power station to reach 80% capacity in a mere 43 minutes, providing an efficient solution for quick power replenishment.

The DELTA 2 Max is engineered for quiet operation, emitting only 30dB of noise during charging, significantly less than other 2kWh power stations on the market. This quiet charging process ensures that users can enjoy their journey or stay without the disruption of loud noises, making it an ideal companion for both travel and home use.

Portability and Longevity

Weighing just 23kg, the DELTA 2 Max is designed for easy transportation, being 30% lighter than similar 2kWh LFP power stations. It features premium LFP battery chemistry, providing a lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until the capacity reduces to 80%. This translates to reliable power for up to 10 years with daily use, backed by a 5-year warranty from EcoFlow, highlighting the company's commitment to quality and reliability.

Equipped to meet more extensive outdoor power needs, the DELTA 2 Max includes an EcoFlow Anderson to Cigarette cable, enhancing its compatibility with a variety of appliances. With a 2400W AC output (surge 4800W), it can power nearly all appliances and support up to 13 devices simultaneously, even while charging. The X-Boost mode further extends its capability, allowing it to power appliances up to 3100W, ensuring users have access to convenient power options similar to those of a traditionally powered home.

Availability and Pricing

Starting February 1st, the DELTA 2 Max will be available for purchase on EcoFlow’s official website, eBay, and Amazon. A special bundle, including the DELTA 2 Max and a 400W Portable Solar Panel, is offered at a discounted rate of $4,198, providing a $300 saving. Separately, the DELTA 2 Max retails at $2,999, with the DELTA 2 Max Extra Battery available for $2,499. Additionally, the product will be accessible at leading brick-and-mortar retailers, ensuring broad availability for Australian consumers in search of dependable and versatile portable power solutions.
