FYI, this story is more than a year old

Gallagher Security, a global security manufacturer, has made five new appointments to its Australian sales and marketing teams to prepare for growth in the region. "The key to our success is our team," says Executive Vice President of Gallagher Asia Pacific & IMEA, Craig Schutte, "and here at Gallagher, two of the values we live by as a company are helping each other to grow and building lasting relationships."

With 98% of businesses in Australia being SMEs, the team has seen an increase in demand for their security solution for small and medium businesses. In response, Greg O'Neill has been promoted to the role of National SMB and Perimeter Manager. Speaking about the opportunity, "There is huge scope for professional development opportunities within our company. We are focused on building an exceptional team to support our growth," says Schutte.

Simon Ambrose was hired as the Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, bringing with him a broad range of experience in technical products, having held roles in Technical Sales, Business Development, and Product Management. The Australian marketing team has also expanded, with Samantha Gibbons taking up the mantle of National Engagement Manager and Tessa Williams becoming Marketing Manager. Nicola Etherington has taken over Gallagher's event environment as Events Specialist for Australia.

With these new appointments, Gallagher aims to improve their value offering to the existing market, provide further support to a growing Channel Partner and end-user network, and deliver outstanding enhancements in the small to medium-business security space.

"We are focused on building an exceptional team to support our growth. Not only will this contribute to the personal development of our team members, but it will also ensure that we continue to build meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with everyone in our business community," adds Schutte.
