Garry Bentlin appointed as Group Director of Cybersecurity at Nine
Nine confirmed the appointment of Garry Bentlin as its new Group Director of Cybersecurity. Bentlin will shoulder the responsibility of spearheading the development, implementation, and embedding of Nine's cybersecurity roadmap and strategy.
Bentlin, a remarkable leader in the domain of cybersecurity, boasts more than two decades of varied experience. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge from numerous IT environments, spanning across areas such as critical infrastructure and energy, mining, financial services, airlines and transport, major sporting events, and government sectors.
Before stepping into this new role, Bentlin was a Partner at PwC Australia. His rich portfolio includes high-profile roles like Chief Information Security Officer at TransGrid, National Cybersecurity Director at Deloitte, and assorted security positions at IBM. In addition to his professional offices, Bentlin also acts as a member of the Executive Advisory Board for Cyber (EABC) at Deakin University.

Garry Bentlin is set to commence his role as Group Director of Cybersecurity at Nine on 11 October.
