Google has put its Artificial Intelligence (AI) developments into high gear as it embarks on the next stage of its Gemini era. Since its inception in December last year, Gemini, which is Google's most accomplished AI model, has been making significant strides, integrating AI into a variety of Google's services to make them increasingly useful for users.
Some of the essential announcements reflecting Google's ambitious AI plans include the adoption of the name Gemini to replace Bard. The change aims to mirror the advanced technology engrained at the core of the product. Furthermore, Gemini will be widely available across several platforms. The new offering will be available as part of the newly introduced Google One AI Premium plan, which is priced at USD $19.99 a month, following a two-month trial that is available free of charge.
In extending Gemini's integration, Duet AI will soon embrace Gemini for Google Workspace and Google Cloud. In the near future, consumers with the Google One AI Premium plan will be able to utilise Gemini's exceptional capabilities in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet.
