GoTo, Nexthink launch bidirectional Rescue integration
Wed, 9th Sep 2026 (Yesterday)
GoTo and Nexthink have introduced a bidirectional integration between LogMeIn Rescue and Nexthink Infinity, which is now generally available worldwide.
The move expands the partnership between the two software groups by connecting GoTo's remote support product with Nexthink's device intelligence platform in a single support workflow. The integration is aimed at enterprise IT teams, as well as Global System Integrators and value-added resellers.
Technicians can start a LogMeIn Rescue session directly from the device view inside Nexthink. During the session, the Rescue console displays live device information from Nexthink alongside structured troubleshooting checklists and digital employee experience scores.
Nexthink telemetry is also linked with Rescue AI, allowing the support tool to compare historical device data with live session information and suggest likely root causes and recommended next steps while a technician works on an issue.
Another part of the integration lets technicians run Nexthink Remote Actions from within the Rescue console. Those actions are then recorded in Rescue session reports and connected ticketing systems, giving support teams a record of diagnosis and remediation activity within the same workflow.
Adding the integration to the Nexthink Infinity Library means customers can access it from within Nexthink's environment instead of building a separate connection from scratch. That is likely to matter for organisations trying to reduce the steps involved in routine support tasks and cut the time spent switching between tools.
Workflow link
The partnership reflects a broader trend in workplace technology, as software suppliers try to connect service desk functions, endpoint data and automation tools more closely. IT support teams have long used remote access products to investigate issues, but many still move between different systems to gather data, launch sessions, check history and execute fixes.
By linking those functions, GoTo and Nexthink are aiming to put device context and remediation options in front of technicians during live support interactions. For managed service providers, integrators and corporate support teams, the practical value lies in reducing manual handoffs and giving staff a fuller view of a device before and during a session.
Nexthink, which focuses on digital employee experience management, has built its business around helping IT departments monitor how devices, applications and networks affect staff. GoTo, whose IT portfolio includes LogMeIn Rescue, is using that telemetry to strengthen the relevance of its remote support product as companies seek more automation and tighter integration in support operations.
The two groups first announced their strategic partnership in 2025. This latest step deepens that relationship by making the connection bidirectional, so information and actions can move between both systems rather than being limited to a one-way handoff.
GoTo generates about USD $1 billion in annual revenue and employs around 2,500 people across North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Nexthink serves more than 1,200 customers, and its software reaches more than 15 million employees.
Executive comments
Samuele Gantner, Chief Product Officer at Nexthink, said the release changes how customers can use the partnership in day-to-day support work.
"This integration represents a meaningful evolution of what our partnership with GoTo can do for IT teams. We're excited to feature LogMeIn Rescue in the Nexthink Infinity Library, giving IT teams one-click access to connect their device intelligence with AI-powered remote support. Nexthink gives technicians the full picture of what's happening on a device before they ever take a manual step. Now, with Rescue available directly from the Library, we're fundamentally changing how fast and how confidently IT teams can resolve issues, and the impact that has on the employee experience," Gantner said.
Joseph George, General Manager of IT Solutions Group at GoTo, said the latest release builds on the original goal of bringing the two companies' products closer together.
"When we first announced our partnership, the goal was clear: bring together the best of what Nexthink and Rescue each do, in a way that enhances how enterprise IT, GSI, and VAR teams work. We are now building on this strategic partnership with a deeper, bidirectional integration between our platforms, providing technicians everything they need in a single place. We're giving IT teams a real advantage in speed, accuracy, and the employee experience they're able to deliver," George said.
