The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) has appointed Adam Ford as its Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

“Adam Ford is a respected leader in the management field, having developed strong networks across the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

“His member-centric approach and expertise will be invaluable as we develop and deepen the IAPP’s presence in Australia and New Zealand.”

Ford brings more than 20 years of global experience to the IAPP.

His background includes experience in the public finance, private equity, and non-profit sectors with a diverse global career across banking, asset management, trading, operations, sales and account management, philanthropy, leadership and governance.

As Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Ford will lead strategic development and operations in the region.

He will work closely with IAPP’s leadership to support the growing needs of IAPP’s members in Australia and New Zealand.

“I’m looking forward to working with the privacy professional community in both Australia and New Zealand and excited to elevate and stimulate the privacy conversation for all stake holders,” Ford says.
