Jessica Booth steps up as Biza.io's new Chief Operations Officer
Consumer Data Right (CDR) solutions leader, Biza.io, announced the appointment of Jessica Booth to the new position of Chief Operations Officer as part of its expansion strategy. Booting its employee strength by 48% in the past year, the Brisbane-based startup appears focused on coordinating operational efficiencies and fostering staff communication to ensure a sustainable growth trajectory.
The promotion of Jessica Booth to COO enables her to marshal her experience and skills in strengthening customer relationships and managing successful teams. Booth first joined Biza.io in September 2023 as Head of Customer Success, impressing with strong leadership skills and proven knowledge in building and maintaining successful customer relationships. Previously she served as the Head of Customer Success at Mastt, a cloud enterprise software company, and also held leadership roles at AlayaCare ANZ and Telstra Health.
Under the new role, she will be focusing on driving operational efficiencies and fostering cross-team collaboration, pivoting her duties towards an integral role in supporting Biza.io's growth trajectory, particularly in the light of increased customer acquisitiveness.
The employee strength of Biza.io rose to 32 after a recruitment drive focusing on various departments including customer success, security, and product teams. The firm also revealed plans to recruit a further five employees for its product and go-to-market teams. This includes positions such as a Cloud Engineer and two Mid-level engineers to back a number of innovations planned to be launched.
One of the key projects in Biza's portfolio is the DataRight Plus initiative, which the firm inaugurated in 2023. The firm also formulated a standard draft for Action Initiation in the CDR and intends to test this specification amongst its customer base in 2024.
