Kaseya debuts Release 9 with new private cloud infrastructure
Wed, 4th Feb 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kaseya has announced the availability of Release 9 with a new solution for mobility management and a new private cloud infrastructure.

The new private cloud infrastructure is a significant investment by Kaseya. It uses state-of-the-science flash memory and enhanced perimeter protection, as well as built-in Identity and access management, network intrusion detection, system redundancy and quick failover capabilities.

“With the newest investment Kaseya has made in its cloud infrastructure, we are thrilled to be able to offer our customers a cloud environment that delivers levels of scalability, security and performance that they simply could not afford to build on their own,” says Yogesh Gupta, Kaseya president and CEO.

“And our new enterprise mobility management product delivers everything needed to manage personal and business devices at a price everyone can afford.

Kaseya says Release 9 of Kaseya Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provides one solution to manage and secure company data on mobile devices, whether company or employee owned.

Kaseya EMM gives IT administrators complete control of company-owned mobile devices, including Mobile Application Management (MAM), along with secure BYOD management capabilities for employee-owned devices, using encrypted containerised applications.

This helps to manage and secure access to company data on mobile devices for BYOD and MDM initiatives, says Kaseya.

The EMM solution offers a streamlined interface for mobility management and integrates with IT management solution, Kaseya VSA, so IT administrators can centrally manage all of their mobile devices, PCs, servers, and networks.

Kaseya says the solution is targeted to MSPs and mid-market enterprises with user-based pricing and a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

“Empowering a mobile workforce requires a unified approach to provisioning and securing business IT resources – including applications, data, and other services – on any device at any location at any time,” says Steve Brasen, Enterprise Management Associates managing research director.

“With the introduction of release 9 of its flagship management portfolio, Kaseya has integrated key MDM and BYOD capabilities to deliver a centralised management experience that will simplify administrative efforts while strengthening security and enhancing mobile user productivity.

Kaseya EMM is priced at one dollar per named user per month, or ten dollars per named user per year, no matter how many mobile devices the user has.
