Kaspersky expands global training with new Partner Locator
Kaspersky has augmented its Partner Locator service by including a new section for Authorized Training Centers.
This enhancement is designed to provide resellers, Kaspersky partners, and cybersecurity professionals around the globe with straightforward access to technical training centres for comprehensive education on Kaspersky solutions.
In a report by Kaspersky titled "The Portrait of a Modern Information Security Professional" (Chapter 1), it was revealed that a significant number of cybersecurity experts pursue additional training to keep pace with the fast-evolving industry. A notable 46% of respondents engaged in further courses during their careers, identifying that practical security incidents often necessitate different skills beyond theoretical learning. The primary reasons for continuing education were to enhance expertise (58%), whereas 20% indicated career progression as a major incentive.
As Kaspersky enhances its suite of products with new and updated solutions, it is concurrently expanding its global technical training ecosystem to encompass these advancements. The Partner Locator now includes a new Learning Centers section, facilitating the discovery and enrolment in training programmes.
Kaspersky's network of Authorized Training Centers is operational across regions including META, LatAm, APAC, DACH, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Africa, and Russia & STAN. This allows professionals internationally to participate in courses on Kaspersky technologies in local languages and at accessible locations. Training sessions are offered in various formats including online, offline, and hybrid, providing maximum flexibility to participants worldwide.
Authorised Training Centers deliver sessions exclusively with Kaspersky-certified trainers and official course materials developed by Kaspersky itself. These programmes blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical laboratories to ensure that participants are capable of applying their skills in real-world contexts.
Participants in any Authorised Training Program receive Kaspersky's official training materials which include student and lab guides. Upon completing their chosen course, participants earn a Certificate of Course Attendance, which further allows them to take an examination at no extra cost to attain Certified Kaspersky Professional status and obtain a relevant certification.
Sergey Boyko, Head of Technical Education and Certification at Kaspersky, stated, "Expanding the Kaspersky Partner Locator with training centers is a major step in strengthening the global cybersecurity ecosystem. We believe that a cybersecurity professional's training should be a joint effort between both the employer and the vendor providing the solutions. We are committed to equipping our partners and customers with top-tier technical training and certification, ensuring they have the expertise to deliver the best cybersecurity worldwide."
