Logicalis merges Asia & Australia operations into unified APAC entity
Logicalis, a leading worldwide technology services provider, has confirmed its strategic realignment which will see its Australia and Asia operations amalgamated to form a powerful new regional entity, Logicalis Asia Pacific, with effect from June 1, 2024. Fostering the prospect of increased synergy within the APAC region, such a move is predicted to amplify Logicalis' market presence significantly.
This ambitious reorganisation will consolidate the efforts of 1,600 employees across ten countries, i.e., Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, and now Australia. An estimated collective revenue exceeding $US350 million is anticipated following this unification. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Logicalis Asia Pacific, Chong-Win Lee will helm the new entity, with Anthony Woodward, CEO of Logicalis Australia, reporting to Lee. Woodward will also lead a dedicated task force intended to stimulate innovation and identify synergistic opportunities across the region.
Chong-Win Lee spoke of the consolidation, "The strategic consolidation of Logicalis operations across Australia and Asia marks a pivotal moment in the company's continued growth and evolution. The aim of this reorganisation is to build a powerhouse capable of delivering high-impact technology solutions more efficiently for customers across Asia Pacific, while still providing the local expertise and support that Logicalis customers value."
This strategic fusion is aimed at improving service delivery, bringing a cohesive solution portfolio to customers, and empowering teams with enhanced skills and capability for data and application modernisation, cloud-managed services, artificial intelligence (AI), and more. It will align the strategies of Logicalis Asia and Logicalis Australia to support digital transformation.

This announcement comes as Logicalis is intensifying its focus on expanding its core Microsoft and Cisco businesses and augmenting its capabilities in cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services. The newly formed Logicalis Asia Pacific will bolster the company's influence with vendors and will enhance the deliverance of outcomes to its customers.
