LogicMonitor achieves key security milestone with IRAP certification

Today

LogicMonitor has successfully completed the Australian Government Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment.

This accomplishment signifies LogicMonitor's adherence to Australian Government security requirements, which are crucial for Australian government agencies and enterprises.

The IRAP assessment, administered by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), evaluated LogicMonitor's cloud-based hybrid observability platform against the Australian Government's Information Security Manual (ISM). By completing this assessment, LogicMonitor has demonstrated its ability to meet the rigorous security standards needed to protect sensitive government data.

The scope of LogicMonitor's IRAP assessment encompassed both its internal security practices and cloud infrastructure.

The CSP Security Fundamentals Assessment examined various aspects, including corporate governance, risk management, personnel security, and internal infrastructure, with a particular focus on endpoint security and network segmentation. Additionally, the Cloud Services Assessment evaluated the AWS-hosted infrastructure, concentrating on data protection, encryption, cloud architecture, access controls, and multi-tenant management.

Richard Gerdis, Vice President, APAC at LogicMonitor, remarked, "Securing the IRAP assessment is a pivotal achievement for LogicMonitor that strengthens the company's ability to safeguard critical operations for government customers. This milestone demonstrates LogicMonitor's commitment to delivering AI-powered observability solutions that align with stringent security standards. With LogicMonitor, Australian government agencies can drive secure digital transformation and future-proof their IT infrastructure."

With the completion of the IRAP assessment, LogicMonitor is now positioned to accelerate its growth in the Australian public sector. This achievement empowers government agencies to monitor and manage their complex IT environments with greater confidence. The milestone underscores LogicMonitor's continued efforts to provide a secure and reliable observability platform, in alignment with national security standards and in support of ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Aran Collins, Head of Partners at Kinetic IT, commented, "LogicMonitor completing the IRAP assessment is a notable achievement, providing customers with confidence that the LogicMonitor Envision platform adheres to the Australian Government's strict security requirements. It's critical to have a partner like LogicMonitor that understands the real-world challenges government teams face every day and have undertaken the assessment for the benefit of all parties."

The successful completion of the IRAP assessment is expected to bolster LogicMonitor's standing in the sector and reassure their government clients of the platform's capacity to meet stringent security demands. As LogicMonitor continues to expand its reach within the Australian public sector, the company aims to support government agencies in their efforts to maintain and secure their IT infrastructure.
