Logitech has launched a new range of workplace video collaboration products for business customers in what it describes as its largest enterprise product release to date.

The line-up includes the Rally Bar 2 video bar, the Rally System 2 Pro modular conferencing system and Sound Shape audio technology. The products are designed for meeting rooms ranging from medium-sized spaces to large and divisible rooms.

Henry Levak, General Manager of Team Workspace Solutions at Logitech, said the launch reflects changing demands on workplace technology teams.

"This second generation of smart video collaboration devices is Logitech's answer to a new, dual mandate for IT: Deliver exceptional meeting experiences today while preparing for an AI-powered tomorrow," Levak said.

Room systems

Rally Bar 2 succeeds Logitech's existing Rally Bar and adds a Qualcomm processor, a redesigned lens, a 1-inch sensor and the latest version of the company's Right Sound audio system. The device also includes sensors intended to detect room occupancy and environmental conditions.

Logitech says those embedded sensors can be used to trigger room-booking actions when people enter a space and to provide occupancy data for workplace planning. Rally Bar 2 is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet, and is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform.

For larger installations, Rally System 2 Pro is positioned as a modular option for more complex room layouts. It is aimed at large multipurpose and divisible spaces that often require several vendors and more involved set-ups.

The broader system includes RoomMate 2 Pro, a compute box based on a Qualcomm platform, and Rally AI Camera Pro, a dual-camera product that combines a wide-angle sensor with an optical pan, tilt and zoom design. Logitech also introduced Logitech Link, which connects devices over category cabling for audiovisual transport across rooms.

Audio focus

A central part of the launch is Sound Shape, a new audio technology that directs sound towards listeners through focused acoustic beams. The technology is built into Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max.

According to Logitech, the system distributes sound evenly across a 20-metre room, addressing a long-standing challenge in executive boardrooms, training rooms and other larger spaces. The company said this result was previously associated with more costly ceiling speaker array installations.

Logitech also detailed additional products in the range. Rally Speaker 2 is a seven-driver networked speaker designed to maintain the same volume and speech intelligibility from the front to the back of a room, while Rally Speaker 2 Max uses 64 micro-drivers for extra-large spaces.

Workplace management

Alongside the conferencing hardware, Logitech released updated room controls. Tap IP 2 is a network-connected touch controller with a brighter display, while Tap Scheduler 2 is a room scheduling panel with upgraded computing and a built-in motion sensor.

The new products reflect a continued push by meeting room suppliers to combine video, audio, room controls and occupancy management in a single system. Businesses have increasingly sought equipment that supports both hybrid meetings and workplace utilisation tracking as offices are reconfigured.

Rally Bar 2 is priced at AUD $7,399.95, while Tap IP 2 is priced at AUD $2,249 and Tap Scheduler 2 at AUD $2,299. Those products are rolling out globally now.

Rally System 2 Pro, RoomMate 2 Pro and the Rally Speaker 2 range will arrive later, with Right Sight 3 multi-camera switching due as a free CollabOS software update. Logitech said Right Sight 3 will use several wall-mounted or table-based cameras to select the best view of the room.
